If there are custom special personal images, you will retain the rights to the personal images. I will retain the rights to reproduce other images.

I have two types of Red Clay Bricks. The top is a common red clay brick. The bottom is a special red clay brick made specially for laser engraving.

Signs

I can cut custom signs.

I made this sign and stand for a friend. I covered the wood with blue painter's tape and engraved it. I then spray painted it before I removed the tape. This was the first time I tried something like this. The paint bleed a little up the grain of the wood, but you do not notice it from 3 feet away. I took some of the detail from the image and cut it into the stand to give it a little life.

Plaques and Awards

We can help make the special occasion a little extra special.

When an officer from the Cal Poly UPD recently retired I helped to make a plaque for him. They gave me the art work for their shield (left picture) and I engraved it into a piece of Baltic Birch plywood (right picture). I also engraved some words into a piece of oak. They took the shield engraving and mounted it with a picture and a retirement badge on the piece of oak. This seems a little odd, to engrave the badge onto a piece of Birch and attach that to an Oak Plaque, but Oak does not engrave well, it works okay with words, but not with images. Future plaques were done in other woods and the badge was engraved right into the wood plaque.

There are a number of edge options, not all options are available in all woods. Prices vary with wood, size, and what is being engraved.

Patch Award Plaques.

Custom Plaques to display patches, like Boy Scout Eagle Award Plaques. Plaques are 1/4" thick with insets for the patches.

When making patch plaques, often "identical" patches are not the exact same size. This results in some space around some of the patches.

Pictures and Images

A friend of mine dances with the civic Ballet. She was the Sugar Plumb Fairy in the 2011 production of the Nut Cracker and on the poster that year. I got a copy of the poster off the Ballet's Facebook page. I cropped the image down to fit on a 5 X 7 frame and engraved it onto a piece of Birch Plywood (left image).

There was a second image of her by Duane Hall that I just loved. She is waiting in the wings for her queue and her husband is standing next to her with a glass of water. Unfortunately it is much too dark around the outside, so I had to crop it down to make it look better when cut (right image).

I am now making custom picture frames. These frames take a picture that is 8 1/2" X 11", but only have a 6" X 9" opening. I call these from left to right:

Lanterns (Luminaries)

Halloween Lantern

The Halloween lanterns are orange on one side and black on the other. They can be put together with either the black or orange side out, or a combination of black and orange. They come apart for storage, Flat Pack.

The four sides are all different; Bats, Cat, Ghosts and a Jack-O-Lantern.

Here is a picture taken in very low light with a battery tea light in the lantern.

Thanksgiving Lantern

The Thanksgiving lanterns are orange on one side and tan on the other. They can be put together with either the orange or tan side out, or a combination of orange and tan. They come apart for storage, Flat Pack.

The four sides are all different; Acorns, Leaves, Pumpkin and a Turkey.

Christmas Lantern

The Christmas lanterns are red on one side and green on the other. They can be put together with either the red or green side out, or a combination of red and green. They come apart for storage, Flat Pack.

The four sides are all different; Holly, Snowman, Snowflake and a Christmas Tree.

Wedding Items

Signs, I can make custom signs up to 17.5" X 23.5". I will be very honest, cutting signs like this takes a lot of laser time and can be rather expensive. The client make the art for the signs and I cut them. This saved her design and setup time.

Wine Bottles and Water Bottles

We can engrave on wine bottles and glass. We do not own a rotational attachment yet so we are limited to horizontal engraving. What this means is we cannot engrave around the bottle. The last will stay in focus for about 1 1/2 inch around the bottle.

We can also engrave on water bottle and similar things. The laser will not engrave or cut metal, but it can be used to remove the powder coating, paint or electro plating on metal. There are some treatments that can be applied to metal before engraving that will cause the laser to leave black on the metal, but they are very expensive.
