Filler Ties
Often when joining two pieces of Flex Track or Flex track to a turnout there is a gap in the ties. This is where Filler Ties come to the rescue. Select the correct number of ties to fil the gap and slip them under the rail. Glue them down, paint and weather them and the gap is filled.
Prawn Designs offers a number of different version of the ties strips, because the tie spacing is not identical on all brands of flex track. They are very close, the tie spacing is just a little different.

The ties and tie strips are laser cut from 1/16" (1.5mm) Baltic Birch Plywood. Each tie strip is 15 ties connected togehter to maintain the perfect spacing to match the flex track. The connectors between the ties are scored on every other side, this makes it easy to remove the connector so you can flex the ties to match your curve. They come in raw wood ready for you to stain or paint.

Using the Tie Strips on a Curve
CutingThe joint between every other tie, alternating sides, is scored for easy removal with a hobby knife.

FlexingOnce the joints between ever other tie, alternating sides, is removed, the tie stip can flex to meet your needs.
