Zephyr Mounting Shelf

If you have a Digitrax Zephyr DCS-51 and want to mount it on the fascia of your layout, this is the shelf for you.

This is a kit, some assembly is required. You will need glue (white or wood) and some clamps.

NOTE the throttle is not included, it is shown for fit and example purposes only.

How to Assembly the Zephyr Shelf

We recommend you dry assemble the shelf before adding any glue.

Layout the pieces as show in the image. There are two back pieces, an inner and an outer. There are four side pieces, two inner and two outer. There are two bottom pieces, an inner and an outer.
Slip the two inner sides onto the inner bottom piece, then slip the inner back piece onto the assembly.
Apply glue to the outside of the inner sides then add the outter sides. Clamp them in place and let the assembly dry.
Now apply gule to the outside of the inner back, add the outter back, clamp and let dry. Apply glue to the outside of the inner bottom, add the outer bottom, clamp and let dry.
When the glue is dry, the Zephyr Shelf is ready to use. Depending on your use, you can paint, oil, or use as is.
